Katharina Braun, Circular Economy

Katharina Braun currently lives and studies in the Netherlands, a country full of critical
thinkers wanting to change old systems for the better. During her studies of she came across the new and innovative concept of the circular economy.

Entrepreneurs use it, big companies work towards it and the idea is slowly spreading across Europe.
It’s about cutting out waste streams, involving the customer as part of the business, creating long-lasting partnerships and financing with a minimum need.

There are three focuses of creating value in such business, not only for financial, but also for social and environmental gain. Through close collaboration the idea make sure everyone wins in a process which is not focused on short-term gains, but on long-term value. Katharina is studying Global Peoject and Change Management at the Windesheim Honours College in Zwolle, Netherlands.
